Mike Clark
President
Mike has devoted over 35 years to the construction industry. He is an expert on tower construction with strong residential condominium experience having put in place no fewer than one hundred and fifty residential projects over his career. Mike is someone who takes initiative, who is adept at multi-tasking, and attentive to detail and quality. He is a true leader of innovation with the confidence to purposely drive toward results while constantly problem-solving and engaging the commitment of others in a manner that is empowering and motivating. Mike is a person who brings a wealth of construction experience to both the project and owner teams.
Sean Donovan
Vice President
Sean joined Clark Construction Management as Vice President in 2019 after spending the majority of his 20-year career with one of Canada’s largest general contractors. Starting in the field as a Project Coordinator, Sean advanced through many challenging roles culminating as the head of the Toronto Residential Integrated Business Unit followed by a 2-year period as Director of Construction with a boutique mid-rise residential developer. Sean has been involved in the development of multiple residential and commercial real estate projects, including the $330M Maple Leaf Square mixed-use project in Toronto. Following this, Sean was responsible to oversee and manage several residential high-rise projects, having a total construction value over $750 million, including the Heathview for Morguard Investments Ltd., Chaz Yorkville, Blocks 17 & 18 at Concord ParkPlace, and the 3-tower Emerald City development for Elad Canada. Moreover, Sean has multiple ICI Sector construction projects to add to his portfolio, all worth a total of more than $1 billion.
Shawn Millican
General Superintendent
Shawn has almost 35 years of experience in the construction industry, and brings a diverse history of accomplishments, professionalism, and expertise to field supervision and construction management. Shawn began his career as a Labourer and made his way through the ranks to a General Superintendent with one of Canada’s largest general contractors. Highlights of Shawn’s career include the successful planning and building of the Concord Adex Skybridge that spans between block 26 & 29 towers and the construction planning of The American Dream mega mall in New Jersey. Shawn carries a strong professional work ethic and the ability to adapt quickly to changes on the jobsite. As a father of two sons and a daughter, Shawn takes pride in the safety of others and ensures that all workers on the project make it home safely to their families. His understanding of planning and project execution helps propel projects forward and stay on schedule.
Brett Latham
General Manager
Brett joined Clark Construction Management in 2019 with over 24 years of construction experience, which included several major projects in Doha, Qatar. As both a General Contractor and Project Consultant, Brett adds to his prestigious portfolio, the successful management of multiple contracts ranging in size from $19 million to $1.5 billion. Brett has a proven track record of managing contract risk, costs and project teams to ensure streamlined delivery of projects.
Teresa Simms
Accounting Manager
Teresa joined Clark Construction Management in 2017 and brings over 20+ years of accounting and financial management experience within the construction industry. Teresa is a detailed oriented accounting professional who manages and oversees all day-to-day accounting and finance functions of the company. She has established extensive relationships with customers and vendors. As Mike’s go-to person, she is a valuable member of the senior management team and is a major point of support for all finance related functions of the company. She excels in understanding and executing the full accounting cycle and implementing systems for accurate and timely reporting.
Jennifer MacDonald
Human Resources Manager
Jennifer joined Clark Construction Management in 2019 as the Human Resources Manager where she leads the human resources, professional development, and CCM’s organizational culture. With more than 20 years of experience in the real estate, construction and audio-visual industries, Jennifer has held a variety of progressive HR leadership roles with growing companies. She has initiated and led several transformational HR programs, including innovative performance management systems, comprehensive leadership development programs, employee engagement strategies, talent, succession, and change management. Jennifer holds a Certificate in Human Resources from George Brown College, a Masters Certificate in Adult Training & Development from York University – Schulich School of Business and is a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL). At CCM, her team strives to translate business needs into integrated HR solutions for people management, employee capability, and organizational development. They champion the talent agenda to attract high caliber talent, foster an engaging culture and enables CCM to tap into the highest potential of its people. Their primary mandate is to support the development and execution of organizational strategy with a focus on human capabilities and a positive organizational culture.
Ron Dizon
Chief Estimator
Ron is an experienced estimating manager who joined Clark Construction Management in 2019, bringing with him 18 years of extensive experience. With a strong knowledge of construction, analytical thinking, and cost estimation fundamentals, Ron has developed valuable relationships within the industry, providing him with a deep understanding of the current market status in relation to costing across all divisions of construction. This insight enables him to produce detailed, thorough, and well-thought-out estimates that align with project requirements and budgets. Ron has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, is a certified member of the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (CIQS), has a Professional Quantity Surveyor (PQS) designation and is also a gold seal certified (GSC) estimator by the Ontario General Contractor’s Association (OGCA). Prior to joining Clark Construction Management, Ron served as a Senior Estimator where he successfully estimated and managed a wide range of projects, including Bessarion Community Centre, Queen Richmond Centre, Mt. Sinai Hospital, and Toronto Metropolitan University. Before moving to Canada, Ron also worked as a Site Engineer with a Japanese construction firm and successfully completed several projects. Ron’s passion for numbers and strategic analysis is evident in his consistent ability to provide sensible budgets, taking into consideration individual project complexities and market condition.
Joe Corapi
Building Systems Manager
Prior to joining Clark Construction Management in 2018, Joe worked on many high- profile projects across Toronto ranging from Hospital grade, CL3 Labs, Isolation Rooms, Transit and most recently a high profile mixed used development consisting of commercial, retail, hotel, and residential condominiums. Starting as an M&E Coordinator and working his way up to a Project Manager and promoted to Building Systems Manager, through hard work and perseverance, Joe has demonstrated an ability to quickly learn and adapt to the project specifics. Joe is a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO) and has been since 2008. He is a dedicated and reliable professional with extensive knowledge and understanding of Mechanical & Electrical Systems, in addition to other specialty Building Systems. Joe’s ability to thoroughly understand the Mechanical and Electrical components associated with any project make him a respected asset not only to CCM, but also to our valued customers.
Marina Ramos
BIM & Scheduling Manager
Marina joined Clark Construction Management in 2018 and brings over 10+ years of construction experience with her. She has successfully managed projects of various sizes and sectors, including commercial, retail, pharmaceutical, industrial, LEED and high-rise. Marina’s expertise lies in BIM Management, Clash Coordination and Scheduling, allowing her to enhance project planning and execution. Her ability to collaborate with consultants and trades enables her to help think smarter and faster while minimizing risk and cost on site. With a background in Architecture and BIM Management, Marina develops realistic schedules that encompass all project stages, from site preparation to turnover, ensuring efficient project management. She excels in fostering strong relationships with all stakeholders involved, facilitating effective communication and collaboration throughout the project duration.
Zoe Mitchell
Sustainability Manager
Zoe joined Clark Construction Management in 2018 and is approaching her ninth year of Project Management experience within the engineering and construction space. Zoe has developed a passion for the built environment and is particularly enthusiastic about sustainability and ESG. Working her way up through the Project Management path prior to being promoted to Sustainability Manager, Zoe excels in efficient project delivery, collaboration, and systems thinking. She values the significance of mindful design and futureproofing and implements these concepts throughout her work. Zoe is a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO) and holds her MBA in Sustainability. Through her formal education and hands-on experience, Zoe aims to apply her learning towards building a cleaner, more resilient future.
